No Sugars No Fats + Cardio
_
_ As you may know
consuming sugar may not be the best for your body, but it tastes just way too
good to give up. We could say the same thing about fats in foods as well. I know I feel that way. Going through your normal routine of eating
habits you may not actually know how much you have consumed of these items. I started to look into diet plans that
eliminate as much sugar and fats as possible and I found a program. I had
noticed that there would be a wide array of foods that I truly enjoy that I
would have to avoid. I went into it initially thinking that this would be one
of the toughest things have done but, I
think I can do it. So I thought I would experiment and start with eliminating
these two from my diet, thinking that this may not be too hard after looking a
little more into it. I think I could go without sugary foods and fatty foods
for about a month. And I also figured
sense I am kinda a fitness nut I would make it interesting and do two 20
minutes of cardio a day and see how much weight I could lose.
I will start off with the meals .For breakfast I would eat egg whites and oatmeal. I took a vitamin every morning with my meal. I used chicken, fish, and steak as my meat, and I used broccoli and sweet potatoes or red potatoes for my main vegetables. I used brown rice for my source of fiber, and there are no fruits because there is too much sugar in fruits. Not going to lie the foods were looking kinda boring
Things were going good week one the food was kind of boring like I had mentioned, so I decided to add some flavor with soy souse to my rice and meats which made things taste better. Then the cravings came along, that I could handle. The part that started to get tough was going out to eat with friends and family. I had to eat this plain boring chicken or steak when my family or friends were eating a big juicy burger and fries. But I had the will power to pull it off and not do it.
The toughest part: cravings and seeing other people eat what you want to eat. You just have to constantly think that in the end you are going to reach a goal AND you are going to be in better heath. And you have to feel guilty for wanting these foods. So you are in a WIN WIN WIN situation if you pull this off.
The outcome: I ended up losing 20 lbs in 12 weeks and look great, feel great, have plenty of energy. The best part of it is that knowing that I set a goal and stuck to it and the outcome was a bonus. Doing this program made me watch what and how much food I eat. I truly need that part of this program, the part where I watch what I eat and feel guilty for eating bad. This picture is not of me but this is a picture of someone who did the same program.
